Created in 1985, the Philadelphian Society recognizes and honors those individuals who have made generous estate commitments to Whittier College through their will or living trust, through a beneficiary designation on a life insurance policy or retirement account, through a gift annuity, or through a charitable trust.
Planned gifts come in many forms and amounts. These gifts are tremendously important to Whittier's continued success as a nationally recognized liberal arts institution, and will provide support for future generations of Poets.
Members receive special recognition and benefits at the College, including exclusive invitations to campus events, discounts at the Olive & Bob Clift Bookstore and on tickets to various Ruth B. Shannon Center for the Performing Arts productions, and inclusion in our annual Philadelphian honor roll in The Rock.
If you have already included Whittier College in your estate plans, please let us know so that we can include you in this special leadership group. We do respect the privacy of those who wish to remain anonymous.
If you would like to learn more about planned giving opportunities with the College, please be in touch. We look forward to hearing from you!
